As I had a vehicle inspection in Corpus Christi last week, we all went to Dallas to visit Brian and Rachel and their 3 girls for the weekend. The baby had taken about 1 oz of milk from the bottle finally the day before we left, which was not particularly reassuring.
The next morning I fed him at 5 am and after numerous phone calls and not much eating I fed him again at 7 pm. Josh said he had been very good until about 3-4 pm after which he started crying a lot but still didn't take much from the bottle. He ate for about 2 hrs straight and was finally a happy and sleepy boy again.
On saturday we took it easy and then drove to a mall to go.....drum-roll..... ice-skating!!! It was so fun to finally get to do that with the girls. They have been on ice probably 3 times before and they were doing well; they 'skated' on their own meaning they ran a few steps and then slid on the ice. It was a great time and the girls loved it. Josh unfortunately had to work a lot that weekend but was able to see teh girls 'riding' around.
The rest of the day was fun to spend with the Crofts in their beautiful and very tastefully decorated home, with their cute girls and sweet baby girl, and their very peaceful and calm and loving parents. We went to the playpark with all girls and after church we had to leave. What a wonderful weekend. Thank you so very much Rachel and Brian!
Here some pictures of our skating fun!
