Family Home Evening with Lilian

For family home evening, Lilian was in charge of the lesson this time. She was very excited about it, but when it was time for the lesson she got a little nervous and insecure. She chose: Jesus Christ created the world', and ended witha sweet lesson, including my favorite children's song: Whenever I hear the song of a bird or look at the blue blue sky. Whenever I feel the rain on my face or the wind as it rushes by. Whenever I tough a velvet rose or walk by a lilac tree, I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world, Heavenly father created for me.' She was so nervous that she kept waving her arms back and forth, but during the song she did a really good job leading the music. She was insecure so she kept asking me what to ask or say, but I am so proud of her for trying and doing her best, and for being enthused. She is so sweet and both girls have such good and compassionate Spirits. When the girls were babies I 'invented' a 2nd verse to the song above, which now also includes Jasper: Whenever I look at my lilian or touch Sofia's cheeks, whenever I kiss little Jasper's face, or tickle their little feet; whenever I make them giggle or smile it fills up my heart with love. I'm glad that I have my own family, Heavenly Father has given to me.'
