Soccer

The girls played soccer this fall for the first time in a team of 6, where the matches were 3 v. 3. Their team mates were Sarah hill (red-haired girl), Delaney Patton, Elliott Ewen and Noah Krzwyka (?). Their coach was: ....... Josh! They loved their weekly practice of 1/2 hr followed by a 1/2-1 hr match on saturday mornings, and Josh enjoyed being their coach. He did a great job and made it a special occasion for the girls. I absolutely LOVED watching every week, even though I was getting pretty uncomfortable sitting on the ground with a big old belly. It was mainly hilarious to watch during the match. The kids practiced running with the ball, scoring goals, taking the ball away, and protecting the ball and they all were getting better every week. However, during the match all 6 kids followed the ball like a swerm of bees wherever it went, and most did not dare to take it away. Sarah was actually really good and competetive, Sofia seemed to mainly think the match was about racing, and lilian was simply too nice to take the ball away. Noah in the mean time was either trying to kiss to girls on the opposing team or to beat up anyone else, while Elliott tried to score goals from the opposite end of the field. Sometimes they played 6 v. 6, which meant 12 kids running all after the ball. In short: Hilarious. here a few pictures and a practice video.
