So on November 13 2008 I was induced to hopefully have the baby that day. As it took 38 hrs with Sofia and Lilian I wasn' too sure about it, but started with good hope. As I was only dialated 1-2 cm and the baby was very high, so I sent Josh and my mom home, thinking it would take a while. The nurse Tracy was very helpful in coaching me to breathe right to cover the pain as I tried not to have an epidural. Around 5 pm my mom came for a little while to support me and then she went home to cook dinner for Josh and the girls. I called them: 'finish dinner but don't do the dishes, I need you'. So they came around 6:45 pm. Less than 10 minutes later I could start pushing and 7:17 pm our little star was born: Jasper David Jewkes. Here some pictures of before and after.
