Move To Utah!

Yes, we moved back to Utah! We are so excited to be here, after 2 months I can still barely believe it! We put our house on the market in April, almost sold it in August, signed a contract for the house we now live in, had our contract fall through, finally ended up with renting our house to none less than a very nice Dutch family! We were able to buy an absolute dream of a house, amazingly beautiful, with even more amazingly beautiful views of Mt. Timpanogos and others. We now live in Heber City, where we can both work from home and spend a lot of time togetehr as a family.

Before we actually moved, we stayed with Josh' parents for 6 weeks, who also already had Josh' brother's family living with them. It was such a blessing and it worked out so well. We are so grateful for them for having us for so long, we are a wild little crowd!  After that we rented a Penske truck and drove that and our Volvo with all kids across the country (again!). We stopped in Vicksburg during the one week of home-schooling that we did, adn the kids learned all about war strategies and enjoyed seeing all the artifacts there.

We then were able to stay for 2 weeks at Josh' parents' Sundance cabin. It is so rustic and beautifully decorated. We loved staying there, again tremendously grateful. We drove the kids every day to school, which was 1/2 hour but such a beautiful drive that it didn't feel like a burden at all. The girls loved school from the beginning. I think maybe they were a little ahead in GA, such that it is relatively easy for them, and the school is just a little more easy going. They have more recess time and when they are done eating lunch they can play outside the rest of the time, which usually is more than half of the lunch time! They have fun specials and the first 5 weeks or so they had swimming 1x/week. And all outdoors has been in the snow and with amazing views so far.

Heber is so beautiful, more a town with farmers, cows, sheep and horses, love it! They have a rec center where the kids take tennis lessons, we play tennis, run around the track, they have golf opportuniies and many other things. Jasper goes to a littel preschool that he is happy at, adn I am happy that it is only 2x/week 2.5 hrs. :)
