My spcial boy, who gives us so much joy, who brings us so much laughter, craziness, energy and sunshine, had his 4th birthday! Big boy! He was so excited to be 4, he was finally as old as his favorite cousin Jonha (only for a month though)! We had a fun pirate party with all of his school friends, and his special friends, the Mahes. I took the girls out of school early, so they could share in the fun and help a little too. they were wonderful. We had a set of activity stations, that fit into a story, and that were part of a treasure hunt. We had a map to help us find the activities and each activity then gave a clue for the next activity. We made several crafts, had a little story time with making a hat out of newspaper, than a ship wreck story where the pirates' hats turned into a shipwrecked shirt, we had a 'don't drop the bomb' race (an egg race), 'walk the plank' race (sack race), and we finally found the treasure box with eye-patches, swords, earrings and such for treasures. After cake and other treats, we all went home satisfied. It was the funnest and easiest and relaxing party I had ever put together! Thank you so much Martha for all your help and smiles!
