This is the Place

'This is the place', is where Brigham Young led the Latter Day Saints into Utah, after they fled from Illinois and Missouri following severe prosecution. He had seen the place in a vision, and when they entered the Valley, he saw that 'This is the Place'. Anyway, there now is a  monument with a cute little village reflecting the days of that era, and with activities from those days as well. We love walking around and petting the animals, gold panning, making prints in leather, learning about the jobs black smiths do, etc. This is one of our favorite places, and we have been at least 8 times this year! :)
