Phoenix trip

My parents arrived from holland on May 7th. I had a work trip planned to Phoenix for an inspection the next day, and I was going to leave Jasper with my mom/Josh and the girls were going to be picked up from school and taken for ice-cream (ofcourse) by my dad. I had pumped plenty of milk to get Tjonkje through 1 day and 2 nights. The night before my parents came, I discovered to my horror that my pump had MOLD insode the tubes and parts where the milk goes through. So I had to throw all that milk away and decided last minute to change flights and have Jasper and my mom come along too. It was pretty stressful, but I was happy to know Jasper was in good hands, and that he could have milk anytime. The accident I was investigating involved a lot of people, and the vehicle I was examining was very very very dirty, with blood and hair all over, yuckie. So, it wasn't a lot of fun for me to come out of that and then feed Jasper in that mess. I am not quite sure how healthy that is for anyone involved. We were very blessed though to visit my friends Aimee and Curtis Keller afterwards in Gilbert. We hadn't seen them since they left Chicago in 2004 or so. What a sweet family with 4 beautiful kids and 1 on the way. They looked as handsome as ever, and especially as happy as ever. Aimee made a yummy salad, we were so spoiled! I love visiting friends, and to catch up after such a long time. We sure hope to see them here in Atlanta, maybe in November for the Atlanta marathon??? Anyway, after the red-eye flight home, we were all exhausted, but the next morning we were excited to see the girls play soccer again, so fun to see them run around to get the ball, but most of the time to be too shy to actually take it away. Funny girls.

OHHHH I am so jealous that you were in AZ!!! AND YOU WERE ABLE TO SEE THE KELLERS?!?!?!?!? I hope that part of the trip was fun and I am sorry that car was soo dirty. That would be a very hard adjustment. Going from blood and hair to feeding baby. I have always thought you were Wonder Woman and I knew you would be able to make that adjustment easily.
