De Ijsboerderij

On Saturday, my dad took Josh to the airport early in the morning, and we had our last day to play. The girls were so excited to learn that the "ijsboerderij' (the icecream-farm) was open. That was the one thing they were mostly looking forward to! The farm has many fun activities and play equipment outside, and they make their own ice-cream. Furthermore, they have abunch of guinea pigs, that the girls were allowed to hold. That was most exciting for them. My mom took them in the car, while my dad and I biked there and back. We all had a lot of fun, and Tjonkje loved the ice-cream. I made some slup sounds, which made him scream with laughter, so funny! This little trip made the girls' day and was a fantastic ending of our very wonderful vacation in Nederland. It had been so nice to just be able to play, spend time with the people I love, have help with the kids and many other things, be outside and walk/bike many places, and visit old friends. What a blessing to be able to do that on pretty much a yearly basis!
