Six Flags

AS in previous years, the girls read their 6 hours within an alotted time and thus earned a free Six Flags pass again. They love roller coasters, the faster, the better, and they were very hopeful to be tall enough (54") to go on ALL the rides, including the Gladiator (scary!!). Fortunately for me, they were not tall enough yet (maybe next year I have to stop encouraging them to read so much... eeks!), though there were still plenty of crazy rollercoasters left.

My sweet friend's daughter Mary Mahe came along with us, whata  treat. It worked out perfectly, such that most rides we would all have a companion to ride along with. It was a lot of fun, the girls' favorite was definitely my least favorite, I believe it gave me a Whiplash! :) We had just a little time left to visit the water park, which was my favorite, I had even taken care to dress with shorts and shirt that I could be wet with, only to find out I couldn't wear jeans on the slides! Grrrrr. The kids all had a blast though, which was the most important. Mary was so fun and sweet to have along, it just made the day perfect. I sure missed my boys, but was excited to spend special time with the girls and maximize their fun rides. Thanks for coming Mary!
