Sofia's Riding Lesson

Sofia loves horses, and has ever since she was born. I could swear her first word was not mama but horse: 'paardje'. She has had some riding lessons off and on, but has really started regularly since school started. The conditions: doing well in school and playing tennis with me, such that she can learn another skill (without costing another arm and a leg).

On friday, she got to ride DJ again, whcih makes her feel really proud as he is a bit bigger than the previous horses she has ridden. She is doing really wel, and absolutely loves every minute of it. Meadow wood farms is a great place, very organized adn well-maintained, adn she gets to learn those things as well. Each 30 minute lesson also entails tacking up and off for a total of another hour, and she loves to spend that time with the horse. She learns to take care of it all by herself, and she loves to be that independent and we love for her to learn more responsibility, both are just what she needs.
